How to Move from Comfortable to Confident

This world has changed a lot in the past couple of years. Life shut down. A lot of us were out of work, or work slowed down. We got into a rut, and well, we got comfortable not having career goals anymore. We got very comfortable doing nothing or working at a job that isn’t utilizing our skills. If this is you, that stops today! Keep reading, and I'll tell you why.

Self-doubt is the biggest stopper of dreams and goals. You may look at where other people are in their lives and say, “I’m so behind on where I should be in life at my age.” DON’T DO THAT!! That self-doubting and comparing your life to others’ mindset won’t get you anywhere, especially by looking at social media. You don’t know what that person did to get to where they are. Only you can control your life—no one else. Start by writing 10 goals you want to achieve this year on a piece of paper.

After you write those goals down, make a plan to achieve those goals even if you can’t complete something right away. Starting it counts! We are our worse critics and can be very hard on ourselves. Take that college course! Get certified in something! Learn something new! Go for that raise at your job! Change professions if you have to!
