Entrepreneurs: Why a Biographical Resume is crucial to have in your business

Hi there!

So you are an entrepreneur too huh? Awesome! It does have its ups and downs right? The beginning stages of starting your own business can be hectic but when you have a great marketing plan it can be fruitful.

Did you know that you should have a biographical resume to help bring in more sales, contracts, and more?

Writing a short bio is an important part of introducing yourself to potential employers, clients, or contacts. You are doing yourself a disservice when you don’t have a biographical resume. As a business owner myself, I know how challenging it can be when building clientele and securing contracts. However, having a biography that illustrates a complete picture of your career accomplishments and successes, notable projects, and an analysis of your personality, can serve as a marketing tool to bring more sales to your business.

By creating a biographical resume, I tripled my sales because I use it as a part of my sales pitch to clients and organizations. There are four major components of writing a biographical resume:

  1. Choose a voice (writing in first or third person)

  2. State your job title (example: Career strategist)

  3. State your philosophy (Why you do what you do)

  4. Share your accomplishments (Focus on  recognitions that relate to your professional skills)

Use this as a starting point to get started. Need assistance with this? Hire us! we will have you set to bring in more clientele in no time. Trust me, having this type of resume to refer to makes it a lot easier to pitch your services to clients. Check out our Biographical Resume services on the menu via the T.
